Prerequisites
Students, who wish to join B.A. (HONS) English, are required to appear for an Entrance Test which is conducted at the college in the month of June. Those who clear the Entrance test will be admitted in order of merit, according to the minimum qualifications required for the course.

Students seeking admission to B.A (Hons) Hindi, must have passed Hindi as a compulsory or Elective subjects in Std.12th. Only those students who have either passed English in std.12th or passed English in Std.10th with Sanskrit are admitted to the course.

Students who wish to join B.A.(HONS.) History, should have studied History in class 12th. Students from Commerce or Science stream should have 60% marks in Social Studies in class 10th and the students with vocational subjects are considered for admission, if they have secured 75% marks in History.

Students seeking admission to B.A (Hons) Political Science, must have scored at least 60% marks in the Political Science subject at the +2 level. Student with vocational subjects must have scored 75% marks in Political Science. They should have passed English in class 12th or class 10th.

Students who wish to join B.A. (HONS.) Sanskrit must have 45% in the aggregate and 55% in Sanskrit in Std.12th or 60% marks in Std.10th and 45% Marks in the aggregate in Class12th.

Students seeking admission to B.Com (Hons) must have passed Business Studies /Accountancy /Economics /Mathematics and English at the 10+2 level. Students must have secured 75%and above in the aggregate with Business Studies and Accountancy and at least 45% marks in Mathematics, Economics and English.

Students seeking admission to B.Com (Pass) must have secured 70% and above in the aggregate with English, Business Studies, Accountancy & Economics at the +2 level.

For courses in foreign languages, the students must satisfy the following requirements:
Russian SSC Certificate or a Graduate or Post graduate degree with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
French & German SSC Certificate with at least 45% marks in the aggregate or a graduate or Post-Graduate degree.
Application Procedure

Offline Application
Sale of application forms for the various courses offered by the college is done mainly in the first week of June. Students are given ample time of about 2 weeks to fill and submit the forms.

Students can also deposit an OMR/ ICR form also known as 'Pre Admission form' at one centre for all courses they opt for. All they have to do is fill in one common form (available at various information centres set up all over Delhi) - marking their preferences of colleges and courses - and drop it at one counter. Students can mark any number of choices - both of courses and colleges - in one form.

Online Application
The college does not have an online application procedure.

Deadlines
The deadline for submitting the application forms in around mid June. The first Admission List is usually put up on the College Notice Board on the date prescribed by the University of Delhi (26th June in 2008) and subsequent lists are put up subject to availability of seats. The second and third admission lists are released subsequently after an interval of 4-6 days.

Documents Required
All those who are granted admission provisionally are required to pay the college fees, on or before the dates prescribed for the same and also submit the following documents in original.
  1. Certificates of the examination passed.
  2. Birth certificate.
  3. Statement of marks.
  4. Two copies of recent passport-size photograph (indicating name, class and address behind the photograph).
